Where do I begin? Caleb and Macy’s wedding day was absolutely stunning!!
When I received Macy’s inquiry to photograph her and her fiance’s Washington state wedding I was thrilled! I knew it would be amazing!!
I stepped off of Alaska Airlines into the Pasco airport and was greeted with the most glorious weather ever! Coming from the hot, humid south I couldn’t have been happier to experience a little respite from the summer heat. Not to mention Washington has mountains?! I was pretty excited.
Macy had spent so much time planning everything, and her attention to detail was evident!
As I scouted for the best portrait locations the day before the wedding, I stumbled across a hidden path that led to a gorgeous spot down by the water. It was stunning, and I knew I had to convince Macy to plan her first look with Caleb at this breathtaking seclusion.
Macy had no problem trecking through the weeds to her first look location. It was magical!
Two of my favorite moments from Caleb and Macy’s wedding day included Macy’s first look with her dad, and Caleb and Macy’s first look. Daddy-daughter first looks somehow always have me teary as I snap my shutter. It was so special to see Macy share a sweet prayer time with her parents just before her first look with Caleb.
One thing that stands out to me about Caleb and Macy is how evidently they pursue Christ. God was glorified in many ways throughout their wedding day. From intentional prayers, to the way Caleb and Macy shared communion following the ceremony, to the evident love they had for each other, each element of their wedding day was meaningful and pointed to Jesus. I was so blessed to witness their evident love for Christ and each other displayed so beautifully.
Caleb and Macy, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day. I was beyond honored to photograph the beginning of your forever!
