I have literally been waiting to do this family session for the past, I don’t know how long! Our family has known and loved the Sineaths for more years than I have been alive. We see each other as often as we can, which unfortunately ends up coming to less than we would like. It doesn’t help that we live over two hours apart.
I’ve been bugging Jamie and she’s been bugging me to do a family shoot for them for the past many months. But it always ends up being theoretical and never practically happens. You know, distance, life, and all the other factors that come into play. So when the Sineath family made the long trek to Georgia for my brother Timothy‘s graduation party, I knew it was now or never to snag my opportunity. I decided on the now.
After the jubilation, celebration and fun had settled down for the day, the eight of us headed out to a heavenly field of grass waving in the golden sun. I had only so much fun capturing this amazing family loving each other. They were each wonderful at being photogenic, and it was hard for me not to be entirely shutter happy.
When I finished capturing family photos I had the opportunity to shoot portraits of just the parents, and let me tell you, that was a blast!! I don’t know if I have ever laughed so much at a session before. There were even some tears from someone who shall remain nameless because she was laughing to hard. I dedicated an entire folder of their gallery to bloopers alone, because they were that hilarious! It was SO much fun.
I’m so excited to share a few of my very favorites from this session. It was all I could do not to share the full gallery. Enjoy some joyful end of spring happiness.
