As the second oldest of ten siblings and one of five girls, I know what it’s like to have a lot of sisters. When I was asked to shoot a beautiful photo session for four sisters, I was excited.
We met the Hornsby family several months back at a Young Artisan Market in Madison, Georgia. Both of our families were vendors selling our respective goods, and we enjoyed getting to meet and know one another.
The rain was coming down as I headed to the photo session an hour away. Since we would arrive to the session early, I decided to make an emergency run to Walmart for a couple of clear plastic umbrellas. That way we could shoot rain or shine! I asked three separate Walmart employees for directions to the clear plastic umbrellas, and Hannah and I frantically searched the store. Finally, the third employee that I asked informed me that they no longer carried clear plastic umbrellas.
So we continued on our way to Newborn, Georgia, to make this amazing sisters session happen. We arrived at the most adorable white house with a picket fence and lovely yard and trees. The skies had cleared, and the weather was just perfect. The Lord was so kind and held back the downpour so we could enjoy a lovely photo shoot.
These gals were so much fun to work with and were especially amazing at the “look at each other and laugh” pose. 😉
Thank you so much, Hornsby ladies, for such an awesome time together! Y’all made my job super easy, and I loved capturing the joy and laughter between you. It was so fun!
Enjoy a few of my very favorites from our time together.
Joyfully,
Lauren
