Timothy’s Spring Senior Portraits | Grovetown, Georgia

How do I begin talking about one of my favorite people?! Timothy and I have always been like glue. Inseparable. Twins, we were called. And although I am two and a half years his elder, or he is two and a half years my junior (sounds better that way), we’ve always been like two corns on a cob (or is it peas?). We weren’t always the picture of perfect sibling health, but we’ve worked on it, and our relationship now is even better than when we used to build towns with Playmobile and then mess them up with wars.

I think it’s time I start listing off Timothy’s amazing traits. There are so many, and this list will be long!

Can I start by saying how is it possible that Timothy already graduated from high school!?! I mean, how! Weren’t we just tots filming movies and having play weddings? It’s amazing when the speed of time hits you hard.

Timothy graduated last December (yep, he’s the smart one of the family). He has always been an avid reader, devouring thick, hard cover books from the time he was eight. He loves to study the Word of God and has particularly flown far competing in the National Bible Bee. He is incredible at memorizing large portions of scripture (many books, actually), and he loves the Lord very much. He is talented in many and all areas. He is eloquent, mature, much older than he looks (or is it looks much older than he is), and have I mentioned that he is quite good looking? I have decided to be his personal body guard so the girls won’t swoon.

I was so honored with the privilege of capturing Timothy’s senior photos. This is such an exciting time in his life, and I am so thrilled to see where the Lord takes him. I know he will go far; he’s one talented young man!

Thank you, Timothy, for the chance to capture these memories of you. I gotta say, that denim shirt really does you well. 😉 But seriously, you are a wonderful friend and brother, and I am so thankful for you! Keep pursuing Jesus, following hard after God’s Word, and growing in Christ day by day! I love you.

Love,
Lauren

  1. Timothy is a remarkable young man! And Lauren has captured his character so well in her photographs. My prayer is that Timothy find young people of similar mind to propel a reawakening among youth in our country.

    1. Thank you so much for your sweet words. It’s been such a blessing to know you and Mr. Everett. Timothy is thankful for y’all. 😍
